Answers to common questions from riders and drivers.
How do I book a ride?
Open the Jatri app, enter where you are going, pick a ride type and confirm. A nearby driver accepts, and you see their name, photo, car and number plate before they arrive.
How is the fare worked out?
You see the fare before you book. It depends on the distance, the expected travel time, the ride type and the area. It only changes if you change the trip, for example by adding a stop, or if the driver waits longer than the free waiting time.
Can my family follow my trip?
Yes. During a ride, tap Share in the app to send your live trip to anyone you choose.
What if I feel unsafe during a ride?
Tap the emergency button in the app. It alerts our safety team, shares your live location with them and lets you call the emergency number straight away.
Can I cancel a ride?
Yes, from the app. Cancelling is free until the driver arrives; after that a cancellation fee may apply, and the app shows it before you confirm.
How do I pay?
Pay the driver in cash at the end of the trip. The amount is the fare shown in the app.
